On Being an Orthodontist
Being able to give someone a smile that changes their life is a dream come true for me. Seeing so many people transform as a result of the treatment I provide is rewarding: each person grows during their time in my care, gaining confidence and a new outlook on life.
Each of my patients is important to me. I treasure the time we have together and the friendships that grow during the treatment process. It is enjoyable to accompany people on the journey to a beautiful smile: helping each through challenges and encouraging them along the way. The day the new smile is finished, and my patient sees all we have accomplished, is the best: They’re filled with confidence and empowered to achieve their goals!
I truly believe I am blessed and privileged to serve our community as a board-certified orthodontist who can provide a premier experience and the highest quality of care when creating your child and family’s smiles.
Education, Professional Affiliations, and Continuing Education
Prior to practicing orthodontics, I majored in neuroscience with concentrations in applied mathematics and public health at Bates College. Then I attended Tufts University School of Medicine, where I obtained a master’s in biomedical sciences and then my Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, I completed my orthodontics residency and specialty training at the Georgia School of Orthodontics.
I am an Ambassador for the American Board of Orthodontics and the American Association of Orthodontists. I am also a member of the American Dental Association, the Southern Association of Orthodontics, and the Georgia Association of Orthodontics.
Through these professional organizations, I have access to numerous continuing education opportunities. By taking courses, studying literature, and attending seminars, meetings, and lectures, I stay current on emerging research, trends, and new developments. This allows me to provide safe and up-to-date patient care. I also feel a sense of community in gathering with and learning alongside my peers as we study the newest technology and methods.
Recognition
It was an honor to be recognized by the Indian Medical Association of New England as one of the Top 20 Women in New England in 2018.

Beyond the Office
Born in Ohio and raised in Massachusetts, I regard Atlanta as my home. My husband and I love to travel and enjoy all activities involving the ocean! In my spare time, I like to work out, play tennis, ice hockey, and most sports. I also make time to relax in the kitchen where my husband and I enjoy cooking fusion dishes with our friends.
Our greatest beyond-the-office adventure has been welcoming our first daughter into the world in November 2022 ... which made for an extra-special Thanksgiving!
